We’ve had a rough couple of days over here between teething pains + growing into a *very* curious and energetic little toddler. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and I’ve been pushed wayy past my limits at times.

BUT moments like this - cuddled up on the couch under the blankets watching movies - remind me how precious this time with her is. Does she drive me crazy at times? Heck yes. But I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything else in the world.

I truly believe in putting things out into the uni I truly believe in putting things out into the universe and the power of manifesting your dreams. As a side note, I also strongly believe in putting in all the hard *work* to achieving your dreams (hence SWEAT.slay.shine ✨). But  there is definitely immense power in saying your goals out loud, writing them down, and affirming to yourself that you WILL achieve them. It’s almost as if saying it loud makes it real and you’re somehow now accountable to seeing it all the way through.

During the new moon a few days ago, Shawn and I took advantage of all that new energy and wrote down all of our short term and long term goals (personal, family, work related) and I’m planning to sit down together each month and reflect on our progress and figure out how we can get closer to achieving them.

Here’s a few that we’re working on as a family this year:

⋒ make more time for each other aka have more intentional date nights (even if it means dressing up and hanging out in the living room 🤪)

⋒ be more *present* during family time - put our phones away and enjoy these moments together

⋒ do more of what makes US happy and less of what makes others happy 💕

I’ve been wanting to create a set of child-specific affirmations since last summer and I’m so glad to finally launch them. I find that as parents we can focus a lot on carving out time each day to spend on ourselves and taking care of our own mental and emotional health after juggling the work-life balance. But we don’t spend nearly enough time thinking about doing self-care activities with our kiddos.

These affirmation cards are such a fun way to connect with your kids each day and reaffirm thoughts of self-love and self-confidence. Slip a card into their backpack as a daily reminder or hang them in their bedroom so they see it each morning.
