My little pumpkins ✨

The reality of motherhood is that there are no breaks. This is a 24/7 gig. There’s always something on our to-do list, whether it’s school drop offs + pick ups, laundry, or prepping the next meal. Even when you get to actually sit down for a few rare moments, your mind is constantly swirling with check lists and reminders of things that need to get done.

Truth be told, sometimes I miss my life before kids. I miss the freedom of doing whatever I want, whenever I want. I miss leaving the house at a moment’s notice without double and triple checking that I picked up everyyything I’ll need for a 30 minute outing (just incase there’s a poop explosion of course🤪).

But these two right here - they make it all worth it. All the late nights cleaning up toys and doing dishes that didn’t get done during the day, all the early Sunday mornings running out the door to soccer practice, all the countless loads of extra laundry that little ones manage to produce.

It’s all worth it when I see their smiles, when I’m reminded that all of the hustling and bustling has lead to so many amazing memories that I hope they’ll remember and cherish forever.

A little late post, but this was our first year taking the kids out trick or treating - Mia had a blast, Jayden not so much 😬 and mom + dad have been enjoying waaayyy too many treats after the kids go to sleep each night 🙊

My not so little girl turned *3* two weeks ago, and honestly my mama heart can’t handle her growing up so fast!

She has taught me so much about life, she’s shaped me as a parent, and she makes me smile from ear to ear everytime I see her.
