“The most powerful relationship you will ever have is the relationship with yourself”
I absolutely LOVE this quote! It’s so simple, yet so true. We’ve heard it time and time again – we need to love ourselves first before we can ever truly love someone else. The love and relationship that we have with ourselves is really the key to our well being and success in life. And what better way to honour the love we have for ourselves than by taking some “Me Time” to focus on us and rejuvenate our mind, body, and soul.
I love having Me Time – but I will admit, like most of you, I don’t do it quite nearly enough as I should. We often put ourselves on the back burner, just because. We can name a thousand excuses for why we’re just too busy or don’t have the time. But do we really not have the time? Don’t we spend at least half an hour (usually more) every day on social media taking a peek into other people’s lives? Don’t we spend a ton of time making mental checklists of what we should be doing, but don’t actually do? My point is – WE DO HAVE THE TIME! We’re just so used to putting our personal wellness as a last priority, that we don’t take advantage of that time to focus on ourselves.
Since we’re all having some major spring fever right now, and spring is the season of new beginnings, I’ve put together a 30-Day Wellness Challenge for the month of March. My goal is that each day, we can take a short amount of time to focus on ourselves, and do something that will rejuvenate our mind, body, and soul. The goal? To make sure that by the end of this, we can all be a little bit closer to being the best version of ourselves. I hope that you all do this challenge with me!
