I absolutely LOVE doing themed challenges, and after the last Wellness Challenge back in March was a success (and super fun to do!), it was requested to do a fall challenge. I started thinking of something fun to do, and I narrowed it down to 2 options – “Fit for Fall” or “Fall Photo”, and the photographer in me won out. So here we are, and I am SUPER excited about this challenge because I’ve recently become obsessed with brushing up on my photography skills.
Here’s how it’s going to work. I have a fully downloadable PDF with the photo challenge for each day – download it to your phone so you always have it to reference. I’ll also post daily reminders on my IG stories, so make sure you’re following me! The challenges are a specific thing or theme of photo to take, and it leaves a ton of room for you to be creative with it! Some of the challenges also encourage you do wellness-based activities and snap a photo. Post your photos daily to your IG stories or IG feed, and tag @sweat.slay.shine in them so I can see all your gorgeous fall photos!
OK, ready? Let’s go through the challenges.
Day 1: Snap a self portrait – we want to see YOU!
Day 2: Fall favourites – what are some of your must-have fall items? Sweaters, Uggs, scarves, candles? Show us!
Day 3: Your journal – I loveee journalling because its such a great way to reflect and express yourself. Show us yours. If you don’t have one, get one (our next challenge for December is going to involve a lot of journalling!)
Day 4: Something yellow – be creative with this one.
Day 5: Fall is for… – what do you associate with fall? Pumpkin spice lattes, long walks, cuddles?
Day 6: Your morning routine – what do you do on a Saturday morning?
Day 7: A scenic snap – fall is arguably the most beautiful season so show it off!
Day 8: Something you’re thankful for – this one is in honour of Canadian thanksgiving!
Day 9: Favourite hot drink – OK maybe you’ll want to save your pumpkin spice lattes for this one haha
Day 10: Sweater weather – show us your warmest, coziest sweater!
Day 11: Skincare favourites – with the weather changing, skincare is an absolute must. Show us what you use.
Day 12: Fall reading list – what are your top picks to read this season?
Day 13: A sunset – sit back, catch a sunset, and enjoy the beauty of nature while getting this shot.
Day 14: Self-care Sunday – do something for yourself today!
Day 15: Something orange – the possibilities are endless.
Day 16: “Fit for Fall” workout sesh – get your workout on and show us what you do.
Day 17: Something inspirational – share some words of wisdom or a photo to inspire us.
Day 18: Favourite fall scents – what scents do you absolutely LOVE during the fall?
Day 19: Leaves – bonus points if you jump into all the leaves!
Day 20: You and your best friend(s) – we want to see all the smiles and hugs!
Day 21: Something that’s warm and cozy – how do you stay cozy in the fall?
Day 22: Something red – be adventurous with this one.
Day 23: Fall beauty favourites – is it a dark lip, black nail polish, a new blush?
Day 24: Something that makes you happy – use your imagination with this one.
Day 25: Decorative fall signs – OK does anyone else LOVE those cute fall signs with the quotes as much as I do?!
Day 26: Things you’re currently loving – this can be anyyyything!
Day 27: Pumpkins – need I say more?
Day 28: A black and white fall scene – let’s show off that beautiful scenery one more time.
Day 29: Poem or quote – share something that resonates with you.
Day 30: A faceless self portrait – be creative, it doesn’t have to be totally faceless, just less than half!
Day 31: Trick or treat – a bowl full of treats, a costume trick, its up to you!
